Job Purpose: To plan, lead and control the factory operations, meeting high standards of product quality in a timely manner, consistent with customer expectations, while achieving targeted productivity in an efficient, safe working environment. Key Accountabilities: Consistently meet agreed customer service standards - DIFOT. Maintain company SHE standards, through ensuring all staff are properly trained and qualified to operate plant safely, routinely monitoring all aspects of SHE performance. Develop and agree the annual Operations Budget and manage the function to adhere to Budgeted targets. Achieve key performance targets including,Yield loss, RFT and productivity measures as agreed. Manage the QC function in line with Technical Department`s specifications. Maintain Inventory levels and composition to agreed targets aimed at optimizing service while contributing to minimizing TWC. Control Purchasing of Raw Materials and consumable items and Engineering supplies, ensuring optimization of inventory levels and cost. Promote a cooperative cross functional environment and participate as a key member of the senior management team.

Person Specification: ? A candidate with MNC experience is likely to be preferred, while not excluding other suitably qualified candidates. ? Likely a graduate with an Engineering or Chemistry degree or related discipline, with solid experience in the Powder Coatings industry.. ? A demonstrated track record of successful man management in a manufacturing environment. ? Evidence of a systematic approach and a willingness to work cooperatively across all business functions. ? Likely to have a minimum of 6-8 years industrial experience and a sufficiently mature approach to be a contributing member of the senior management team. ? Some proficiency in English an advantage to facilitate dialogue with the JV`s foreign (Australian) partners preferred, but otherwise well qualified candidates should not be excluded from consideration.
